I’m Jo Anne Barron, and I help families navigate the often overwhelming process of senior placement—compassionately, personally, and without charging a dime. I started Lisa’s Light after losing my sister Lisa to early-onset Alzheimer’s. Our family faced countless difficult decisions and emotional moments trying to find the right care for her.
That experience changed my life—and inspired me to help others going through the same journey.

Lisa wasn’t just my sister—she was my best friend. A devoted wife, mother, and proud grandmother. She adored her family. She loved animals. Her favorite color was purple. She was still in her 50s, at the height of her career, when she was diagnosed.
